About the owner

Paul Harrington was raised in Queens, NY. My parents were both focused on giving to others. We had little money but big hearts. What we lacked in money we stockpiled in charity to others.

My father and I taught golf to the Boy’s and Girl’s clubs. We also were instrumental in keeping the Forest Park Golf Course open during the bad days of the early 1980’s. I started playing golf when I was 12. My father would not let me on a course until I knew the rules, etiquette and how to hit every club. I compiled a 42-4 record in high school and could have attended Wake Forest If my school average was better.

Until my retirement in 2020, I spent the next 38 years on the road covering news and sporting events around the world.

One of the wonderful things I enjoyed was being able to observe cultures in their culture, not in an American “Chinatown” or “little Italy”, but where they grew up and lived. The respect shown to me as an outsider was something very inspiring. It formed the basis to start this business when I had the chance to pay that respect back.

So now as a retiree, I am the lead coordinator at the Plantation Lakes G&CC for The First Tee, a youth organization that empowers teens and kids through the game of golf. I stand here in front of you melding my two passions of positive living and giving back. It is my belief that we as humans must teach our kids to be good willed and good natured toward each other to survive. It’s also important to show people that golf, life and business share success in many different ways.

I am hoping that you will join me in this all-important quest of promoting goodwill and positive behavior among ourselves for the sake of everyone’s future.
